This month we met with Aurelie Peroux. Aurelie is widely acknowledged as the supermodel of Mauritius due to her frequent appearances on the covers of numerous magazines. She is also known as Zendaya of Mauritius. Currently, Aurelie is content in her role as a married woman, devoted to her children. Her fervor for physical fitness and dedication to living in an environmentally conscious manner exemplify her devotion to personal health and the preservation of the natural world. She actively pursues her passions while also fulfilling her responsibilities to her family and the environment.
If you assume freediving is just like snorkeling (but much deeper), think twice. Freediving is a completely unique approach to experiencing the underwater environment. You'll dive deeper, stay down longer, and feel like you're a part of the ocean.
Freedivers integrate with the underwater environment. They have spectacular encounters with shy marine creatures and can hear all the noises of the ocean, like fish chewing on coral, the tide throbbing at the rocks, and even dolphin and whale cries!
After interviewing Olympic Champions and world-renowned dancers, we'd want to learn the secrets of deep diving from Megane Salmon, one of Mauritius' and Tahiti's most famous freedivers.
Just prior to the Sky Grace 2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament, which will take place in Shanghai in November 2023, KASAA had a meeting with the show's chief commentator, legendary Yana Batyrshina. During her sporting career, she earned 180 medals, including a silver medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, 7 gold medals at the World Championship, 5 top awards at the European Championship, and over 40 cups. She took over as head coach of the Brazilian rhythmic gymnastics team at the age of twenty.
Last month Yana, a television host and Strong Figures festival ambassador, gave us a tour of her beautiful city while we chatted about her family, her sports career, the keys to good health, and a lot more.
This interview is dedicated to all the parents of future champions and those who are on their way to vying for their medals.
